چکیده

In this paper, we consider the forbidden state problem in discrete event systems modeled by partially observed and partially controlled Petri nets. Assuming that the reverse net of the uncontrollable subnet of the Petri net is structurally bounded, we compute a set of weakly forbidden markings This work was supported in part by the United States National Science Foundation (NSF), under NSF CNS Award 0834409. Partial Observation in Distributed Supervisory Control of Discrete-Event Systems

Distributed supervisory control is a method to synthesize local controllers in discrete-eventsystems with a systematic observation of the plant. Some works were reported on extending this methodby which local controllers are constructed so that observation properties are preserved from monolithic todistributed supervisory control, in an up-down approach. In this paper, we find circumstances in ...

Supervisor Localization of Discrete-Event Systems under Partial Observation

Recently we developed supervisor localization, a top-down approach to distributed control of multiagent discrete-event systems. Its essence is the allocation of monolithic (global) control action among the local control strategies of individual agents. In this paper, we extend supervisor localization by considering partial observation, namely not all events are observable. Specifically, we use ...

Supervisory Control of Discrete Event Systems with State-dependent Observability

This paper considers a new class of discrete event systems under partial observations. The problem is presented within the background of a manufacturing process where workpieces are loaded and transported, and this process is controlled with the partial information collected by sensors. The model extracted is novel because the observation of an event does not only depend on an event itself, but...

Supervisory Control of Real-time Discrete Event Systems under Partial Observation

In this paper, we address the issue of synthesizing an optimal supervisor for real-time discrete event systems modeled by timed automata and under partial observation. Our approach is based on a method of transformation of timed automata into particular finite state automata called Set-Exp-Automata. That is, given the timed automata of the plant and the specification, we construct two Set-Exp-A...
